Care to Roar — When Strength Serves Others
About the Initiative

Why Care to Roar™

The lion has always been a symbol of strength, protection, and dignity. It is at the center of the Retire REGAL® brand — a reminder that retirement, done right, is not about survival. It is about reigning over the terrain ahead with confidence and purpose.

Care to Roar™ extends that philosophy outward. If financial strength can protect families from The Five Foemen of Retirement™, it can also protect animals who have no voice of their own.

The initiative was built on a simple conviction: business success and community impact are not competing priorities. The launch of Retire REGAL® is the first major Care to Roar™ event — and it will not be the last.

Donations are made through a Donor-Advised Fund, ensuring that every dollar designated through Care to Roar™ reaches its intended cause with full transparency and accountability.

Donor-Advised Fund Structure

All Care to Roar™ donations flow through a Donor-Advised Fund — the same structure used by high-net-worth philanthropists — providing formal accountability, an independent audit trail, and verifiable grant records for every dollar designated.

Event-Driven Giving

Care to Roar™ ties charitable giving directly to business milestones — book launches, client anniversaries, and firm growth events — so impact scales with success.

Ongoing Commitment

Care to Roar™ is woven into the firm’s DNA — designed to grow alongside Owens Financial Group, with every milestone unlocking new opportunities to give back.

Client Participation

Everyone who supported the April 2026 launch is part of the Care to Roar™ story — the foundation on which future events will be built.

The Beneficiary

The National Humane Society

The National Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ending suffering for all animals. They stand with shelters and humane societies nationwide in the mission to find abandoned animals homes and help address the overpopulation crisis of dogs and cats in the U.S.

Their work centers on spay and neutering assistance, veterinary care for animals in need, and funding local shelters — giving volunteers and the animals they serve a fighting chance at a better life.
